Too good not to share!

We’re dedicating our Sundays to sharing five things that made us smile, taught us something, increased our productivity, or were just too good not to share. Our Fast 5 is inspired by Tim Ferriss’ 5-Bullet Friday emails. Thanks, Tim!

1. What we’re watching:

Before the Flood — a documentary presented by National Geographic on the threat of climate change. Check it out on Netflix.

2. What we’re listening to:

The Mental Illness Happy Hour — a weekly podcast that explores mental illness, trauma, addiction, and negative thinking. Listen to it wherever you listen to podcasts.

3. An app we’re loving:

Headspace x Nike App — an amazing partnership between Nike and Headspace. Headspace co-founder Andy Puddicombe explains how this collaboration will help you optimize your runs: “Mindfulness is the ultimate tool for any athlete at any level.”

4. What we’re reading:

The Gifts of Imperfection — a New York Times bestseller written by Brené Brown, who has spent the past 16 years studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. This book explores how to cultivate the courage, compassion, and connection to recognize your imperfections and realize that you are enough.

5. Quote of the week:

“Don’t underestimate the value of doing nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can’t hear, and not bothering.” – A. A. Milne

This quote, from the author of Winnie the Pooh himself, reminds us of the value of ‘doing nothing’.
