Automatically calm your dashboard at the end of the day.
June 26, 2017
When we're constantly pushing ourselves to be more productive, we can get overwhelmed and burnt out. Sometimes the most productive thing to do is to rest. So we came up with Balance mode.
With Balance mode, Momentum will automatically calm your dashboard by disabling productivity-related features, allowing you to rest and recharge at the end of the day. Your focus, todos, notes, and clock can be automatically hidden and then shown again at the start of the next work day.
Simply enable Balance mode in Settings to get started. You also have the option of tweaking your schedule and choosing which features will be hidden.
Our philosophy behind Momentum Plus is to provide the core experience for free, while offering additional power features through Momentum Plus subscriptions. These subscriptions allow us to continue improving the product for everyone and provide additional functionality for those who desire it. This way we can bring the benefits of Momentum to the greatest number of people and continue to work toward the full vision of Momentum with the help of our Plus subscriber community. Thank you to our community and Plus subscribers!
The Custom scheduling options for Hours of the day and Days of the week let you create a unique uptime schedule for Balance mode.
Upgrade to Momentum Plus to unlock this ability and many others.
Percent clock began as an experiment for simplifying the day's time down to a single number. We released the experiment and to our surprise many people loved it! One of the most requested customizations was the ability to change the time of the day the percent clock covered. This is now possible!
Included in our Balance mode update is the ability to customize your percent clock range.
You can now choose between a number of preset hours (8:30-4:30, 9:00-5:00, 9:30-5:30). You can also further customize the range with Momentum Plus. To change the hours, simply go to → Balance and set your uptime schedule.
Check out our Balance mode help articles for detailed instructions on how to set your uptime schedule and downtime options.
