We’re excited to announce our latest addition to Momentum, Notes! Notes is a super simple way to jot down notes right from within Momentum. Notes is also a place to keep quotes and longer passages of text close at hand, so you can keep coming back to them.
Your notes automatically save when you create and edit them. Once enabled, the Notes widget can be found near the bottom right corner of your dashboard — right next to the Todo widget. Create, edit, and store multiple notes at a time, and access them from any computer by logging in with your account.
To get started using Notes:
- Click ⚙️ Settings.
- Find Notes under Widgets and click to enable it.
- The Notes widget will appear in the bottom right similar to Todo. Click and enjoy!
Keyboard Navigation
We built keyboard navigation into our new Notes widget for quicker usage. Use N to open Notes (Momentum must be selected by clicking into Momentum or pressing Tab twice from the omnibar). To jump right into a New Note, press Ctrl + N.
Navigate between notes in the list with the ↑ and ↓ keys. Press Enter to go into a note, and Esc for back.

Offline Sync
Debuting also in the Notes widget is our new offline sync functionality. You can now working with your notes offline and when you get back online they will sync with your account.
